Think about your society can be more healthy

A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE





Most of us have decided that it is time to change some habits and to follow some basic rules of good health. The promises we make to ourselves accumulate due to the lack of time for young people today. Many of us think that it is a big waste of time adopting a healthy lifestyle but there are some simple everyday ways with which we can improve our daily life.

HEALTHY FOOD : A lot of young people, due to the economic crisis, forced many times to make more than one job so they do not have time for cooking and prefere to  to "fast food" in order to save some time. But they do not know that this kind of
food contains no nutrients and vitamins while is full of saturated fats that are bad for your health and they often lead to obesity. So one solution would be to cook at the previous night for the other day if they do not have enough time to do it in the morning because of other occupations. Also it is important  to reduce the sugar and to prefer fruit. Moreover we should abide by the rule of five meals a day and we shouldn' t  cut out the breakfast which is the most important meal of the day.


SPORTS : Nowadays young people with the development of technology they are on mobile phones, TV, computers and video games and they spend a lot of time with them and they have no time for sports. Children from an early age learn to live with technology, they stay in their homes and they have stopped play in playgrounds. Parents should encourage their children to follow a healthy life and do a sport from their young age to get used to a healthy life.




Moreover all people should put in their life the exercise in easy everyday ways. A good way is to start to avoid using the car for moving schools or jobs or places which they are in small distance and start using a bicycle or even they can go on foot.




ALCOHOL : It has become the most known way of fun for young people. They choose alcohol drinks to have fun without pay attention to its destructive properties. But they often lose the limit and they harm their health or they become addicted to it. So if we can not avoid it, we shloud keep a measure.



SMOKING : Smoking is a bad habit for which more and more people every day are convinced that it is harmful, especially in developed societies of Western Europe and North America. Nevertheless this bad habit still has a lot of victims. Smoking has harmful effects not only on the smoker's health but also on the non-smoker's who is in the same enclosed space with a smoker (passive smoking).





 Each cigarette which is smoked reduces 5.5 minutes of life of the smoker. Every ten seconds someone dies on the earth because of smoking. Smoking is responsible for a lot of heart diseases and a lot of people have lost their lives because of it. Parents and schools should inform their children in order to persuade them to avoid it ny showing them its destructive properties.





SLEEPSleep is also beneficial to our health, as exercise and healthy diet. The lack of sleep is related to several diseases such as heart disease. People with chronic insomnia encounter more traffic accidents, difficulties in performing daily tasks, or concentration difficulties and memory impairment. About mental health, not only reduce the euphoria, but also these people face mental disorders (depression, anxiety, alcoholism, etc.). Sleep is a basic human need, and we should pay attention to it if we want to have a good health.


If you follow the above tips we will be able to improve our quality of life greatly.
