Possible mesures for solutions for a serious social problem

Unemployment is the main problem that concerns Greece this period.
It ‘s caused by the economical crisis and other reasons like lack of education, social class etc.
The new generation sees that there is no future for those who graduate and they feel unable to make their dreams come true. They worry about how they’ re going to ensure a job so they can leave their families and be independent. That’s why many of them are thinking of moving abroad but they know that things are not better there. Also those who are a little older are unable to have a family because they know that their children won’t have a good life (ex. education).
All these apply to  most Greek people because many of them can’t use their knowledge and their skills because there are no jobs for them.
Unemployment is a problem that never stops. For this reason it is necessary to make some changes to improve the situation.

Imagine what will be a heritage of mankind in future. Make a list to explain your point of view.

Undoubtedly we live in an age in which human excels building structures having available the latest methods and technology developed within. Many times comes the nature of weather phenomena to remind the futility of his efforts to master. But there are monuments testify that the ancient civilizations were able to make their mark with a huge heritage attractions. The following seven attractions are undoubtedly proof global European heritage. And in my opinion they will remain for the next twenty years.

METEORA

Meteora is a cluster of huge dark sandstone cliffs which rise out of Kalambaka, near the first hills of Pindos and Chassia. The monasteries of Meteora, which are built on top of some rocks, is now the second most important monastic group in Greece after Mount Athos. Of the thirty who have been historically, currently operating only seven, which, since 1988, included in the list of UNESCO world heritage monuments. The average altitude is 313 meters. Studies show that the rocks were formed about 60 million years ago during the Paleogene Period. The weathering, erosion and earthquakes then gave them their present shape. The wild and inaccessible landscape was a convenient place for hermits Christians who settled in the area to date is not exactly known. The name Meteora attributed to the founder of the monastery Great Meteoron, Aghios Athanasios the Meteorite, which he called "Meteor" Platis Lithos which premiered in 1344. Generally the monastic life Meteora noted decline in the years of decline and fall of the Byzantine Empire and the ensuing Ottoman conquest of Thessaly in 1393. However, from the late 15th century and especially the 16th century Meteora know their greatest prosperity, and founded new monasteries, Catholic and monastic buildings, which are adorned with unique art paintings. In the 1920s they carved stairways and tunnels in the rocks making the odd accessible from the nearby plateau, so the traditional method of communication and supply the monasteries with ladders, ropes, pulleys and baskets, gradually abandoned.

literature(my own poem)

Vaso Farasopoulou,

When people ask me how I see myself in twenty years

When people ask me how I see myself in twenty years-I do not answer-I do not know what to answer. I get nervous, I retreat and I just wander off among the rabble.

When people ask me how I see myself in twenty years, my thoughts escape me, my noble dreams proliferate and the chimeric journey begins.

When people ask me how I see myself in twenty years, I stir up the memories of the past, I blend them with those of the present and then contemplate what form, what taste and what colour those in the future will have.

When people ask me how I see myself in twenty years, sometimes I feel sad, sometimes I am happy and sometimes Ι resent the question. Plans are many, life is short and I am constantly getting older.

When people ask me how I see myself in twenty years, I do not answer, not by choice but rather by ignorance. What could I possibly answer? Besides, nobody knows...

Refugees and migrants' integration, Europe's future challenge

From the beginning of 2015, almost a million people have passed from Turkey to some of the greek islands, trying to reach one of the wealthy countries of North Europe. It is about the biggest people' movement in the recent history and one of the most important human crisis in Europe, after war.

Many are the refugees' problems in the host countries. One of them is the difficulty of integration in society, which is mainly result of the people' racist behavior. Also, the lack of material goods and facilities for their accomodation and the inability to offer proper education are some of the difficulties refugees have to face.

The indifference that powerful countries show by closing the borders and the inability of cooperation between European countries make the problem worse and prevent the finding of a solution.

Think about your society can be more healthy

A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE

Most of us have decided that it is time to change some habits and to follow some basic rules of good health. The promises we make to ourselves accumulate due to the lack of time for young people today. Many of us think that it is a big waste of time adopting a healthy lifestyle but there are some simple everyday ways with which we can improve our daily life.

HEALTHY FOOD : A lot of young people, due to the economic crisis, forced many times to make more than one job so they do not have time for cooking and prefere to  to "fast food" in order to save some time. But they do not know that this kind of
food contains no nutrients and vitamins while is full of saturated fats that are bad for your health and they often lead to obesity. So one solution would be to cook at the previous night for the other day if they do not have enough time to do it in the morning because of other occupations. Also it is important  to reduce the sugar and to prefer fruit. Moreover we should abide by the rule of five meals a day and we shouldn' t  cut out the breakfast which is the most important meal of the day.

Future Economic situation of Greece

''What are the best decisions that politics can take for the future of Europe?''

With Europe nowadays turning into an economical battlefield, many problems have occured and their solutions aren't easy to be found or even don't exist. For many years a lot of Europian countries are facing economical crisis which makes their systems hard to control and their populations difficult to survive.Europe is adapting to new challenges by reforming its political system and economic model. It strives hard to remain faithful to all that Europe stands for purified by the purgatory over centuries.

Talk about your own idea about future fashion

Fashion is in the sky,in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening..

-Coco Chanel
From this quote of Coco Chanel,we can understand that fashion is something temporary.Actually it depends on us,on our lifestyles.

So we are going to talk about future fashion. In fact,it is impossible to quess but no harm in trying..

Let's use our imagination..

We all know that fashion is an instant language,it is the first thing to identify someone.Probably, with the improvement of technology, our lives will be a bit different than today.

I believe that people will prefer more simple and convenient things like uniforms.

Art in Greece - today

Street Art developed in public spaces and includes a variety of forms and techniques. The wheat pasting, sticker bombing, stencil graffiti, outdoor screenings and installations, the use of mixed techniques, counterfeit road signs contained in what we call in a word today, street art.
Graffiti is certainly the great representative of Street Art. The word Graffiti, appeared as a guest in the 19th century and comes from the Italian word “graffiato” (scratched). First it was used by archaeologists as Raffaele Garucci in the discovery of inscriptions and figures on the ruins of the catacombs of Rome and Pompeii, trying to separate this phenomenon from other forms of art. Graffiti is associated in some cases with the social and political conditions of the period. A good example would be that in 1960 during the “revolution” of students in America with the slogan “Ôhe Will have their Say”, the walls of the country's comments were filled with poetry and political messages. In the Graffiti had acquired new techniques and had flooded the New York subway. The “tagging” (signature) is spreading rapidly with the strong influence of the Hip Hop culture and markers are replaced by efficient spray playing with volumes and colors and creating the illusion of depth. Then graffiti was officially banned and cities were almost automatically turned into a battleground between rebellious “young revolutionaries” and authorities. In 1972, the student of sociology Martinez Hugo founded the Graffiti Association United in an effort the graffiti to be acknowledged as an art form but although the organization attempted to expose in galleries, the art world was indifferent. Some years later however some gallery in New York decided to exhibit works and some collectors and museums bought a very small number. In the 1980s the graffiti evolved, using colorful letters, displaying fantasy characters or characters from comics, like imaginary landscapes by adopting a different style from each artist, thus declaring a cultural and artistic ambition

Today's greek music and artists

Music in Greece is of unbelievable diversity due to the creative Greek assimilation of different influences of the Eastern and Western cultures of Asia and Europe. Music is an important aspect of the daily Greek culture. It has a long history dating from the Antiquity, during which poetry, dancing and music were inseparable and played an important part in the ancient Greek's everyday life. The Greek tragedy used music as one of its component elements. Then, with the fall of Ancient Greece and the evolution of the Byzantine Empire, Greece music got a more ecclesiastical approach. In the 400 years of Ottoman domination, it was influenced by the eastern sounds. It got reborn only in the 19th century with the opera compositions of Nikolaos Mantzaros (1795-1872) and Spyros Samaras (1861-1917). From that moment on, Greece produced many talented artists, including great composers to fabulous interprets. Music in Greece became an expression and a testimony of the slavery years, a weapon of opposition against the colonel authority and a way to express love, death, human fears, that accompanied the Greeks in their everyday life.

Social problems today

Criminality

In the TV and other media Greek sociality often listens to news about criminality and even worse some time they themselves are witnesses of such events. The problem becomes more alarming as more often than before young people are involved acting in groups (gangs). Robberies, thefts, vandalisms, murders and rape cases etc are often in the media worrying every day people for the future.
Comparing to the past not only the frequency of such events have risen but also the brutality of them. It is common belief that crime becomes more brutal, inhuman and for trivial reasons. For example the old fashion burglary has developed to armed robbery and often to torture and murder of the innocent victims. Crime also has become more organized and the word organized crime is more usual than in the past.
The main reason for such evolution in the crime is the multi aspect descent of the sociality in the last years dues to various reasons such the urbanisation, the descent of moral values and of course the economical crisis and the rise unemployment rises. Migrants also contributes to the rise of criminality. Due their low economical profile and their strength for a more prosperous life some of them have turned in to crime. As long as the unimplemented leads to more pure people becoming homeless there can be no decrease to criminality.

today's literature

Katerina Angelaki-Rooke
To the sky of nothing with as little as possible

Through the keyhole I peep at life
I spy in the hope of understanding
how it always wins
while we lose.
How values are born
and take control over the one that comes apart first:
the body.
I die inside my mind without a trace of disease
I live without the need for any encouragement
I breath even though I am
in close remote distance
from anything that can be touched, though in flames…
I wonder what other combinations
life will invent
between the trauma of definite elimination
and the miracle of day-to-day immortality.
I owe my wisdom to fear;
petals, sighs, shades
I throw them away.
Earth, air, roots I shall keep;
the unnecessary should go away, I say,
so I can enter the sky of nothing
with as little as possible

Lifestyle - flashback

The 90’s were a carefree time suitable for kids and teenagers. It was the time when mobile phones and internet was still debate about something that will exist in the future. It was a colourful decade of abundance, rave parties and private television.

The teenagers of that time were watching tv for several hours as many famous presenters such as Helen Menegaki, Roula Koromila, Andrew Mikroutsikos, Popi Xatzidimitriou were the protagonists-presenters of the morning entertainment zone.

Art in the 1990s

Satellite communication tools, Computers and the Internet dominate in the 90s and Internationalization is the predominant theme of the era. Nevertheless, art seems to express a subjectivism that deserves to be observed. It has even been presented as heterogeneous and often contradictory.
In all European countries, Postmodern spread as a new style 1990’s. Postmodernism or literally the Intercultural Leadership (Transavanguardia) introduced a spirit of freedom: the freedom of the artist to take evidence from any time and from any voltage from the world of art he likes. Innovation is no longer requested nor a criterion for assessing the work, since everything has been said and

Music in Greece (25 years ago)

Music in Greece in the late 80s and in the early 90' was influenced by several factors, one of the most important was that for first time in Greece was created private broadcasting. This resulted in an abundance of supply and choice but also -in a very large extent, commercialization of the song. The Greek song since then showed tremendous diversity and variety.

The music of the 1990 season was  a variety of items such as pop, rap, hip-hop, alternative and we have the first appearances of electronics. It was the time when the musical taste was so varied such as the concerts. Many groups  and solo artists started their career then and artists who influenced very much the music scene of the time.
